HAMMOND — An Ogdensburg man was killed by a vehicle while standing on State Highway 12 Friday night, according to state police.
Troopers said 37-year-old Bryce J. Lever, 37, died at the scene after being struck by a white 2007 Cadillac Escalade shortly before 10:30 p.m., officers said.
The vehicle immediately stopped and contacted emergency services, police said.
State police were assisted by the St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies, Morristown Fire and Rescue, and Hammond Fire and Rescue.
This is an ongoing investigation, officers said.
