OFA Key Club Talent Show celebrates talented students

OGDENSBURG – The Ogdensburg Free Academy Key Club held a successful Spring Talent Show with 14 student performers who ranged from kindergarten to 12th graders, competing in three divisions.

In Division 1, Alexa Bouchard Sydney Garno, a Kennedy School fourth grader, who sang “Journey to the Past,” winning first place in the elementary division. 

In second place, Laney Geary and Everett Graveline, two 4th graders danced to “Remix” to win their trophy.

In third place, Violet Robb, a 4th grader from Kennedy School danced to “Look What You Made Me Do.”

In Division 2, OFA 9th grader Olivia Beaulieu took first place for singing “Thank You for the Music.”  

In second place, Kennedy School 6th grader Sidney Garno danced to “What A Time.”

In third place, Kennedy School 6th grader Myra Maroney sang and danced.

In Division 3, OFA 11th grader Logan Moran took first place, singing and playing the guitar, with a performance of “Macy’s Day Parade” by Green Day.

In second place, OFA 10th grader Carly George danced to “Cry Pretty.”

In third place, OFA 12th grader Karlos Lawrence sang “A Million Dreams.”

The event was emceed by OFA Key Club Junior and Club President Azin Paige.

The Key Club thanked AV Director Bob Ladouceur and the members of the OFA Audio Visual Club for their assistance with the event.

The celebrity judges included Former Ogdensburg Free Academy Key Club President Jaedyn Awan, Cheerleading Coach Alexa Hooper and teaching assistant Melanie Cole

“We would like to thank the parents, grandparents, relatives and members of the Ogdensburg community for coming out to support our performers and our show,” said Ogdensburg Kiwanis Advisor Jim Reagen. “Without the support we receive the show wouldn't be possible.”

“We would also like to thank the Ogdensburg City School District and Administration for their support for Key Club and our show,” said Faculty Advisor Ruth Anne Barkley. “Our Talent Shows provide a unique experience for the young people of our community to get up on stage and show what they can do in the performing arts.”
