POTSDAM –Emily S. Bristol of Norwood was recently inducted as a member of the Rotary Club of Potsdam. She is a commercial lending officer at AmeriCU Credit Union.
A native of St. Lawrence County, Bristol has been in the lending arena since 2007. In addition to her full-time position, she volunteers with a variety of committees and organizations with a focus on social and economic responsibility to the communities she serves, including the Potsdam Lodge BPOE Elks 2074 and the North Country Alliance. She is also a small business owner.
Bristol earned a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice of forensic science, and associates degrees in both liberal arts of business and criminal justice administration, all from SUNY Canton.
Bristol and her husband, Kenneth “Judd” Plumb, have two “dawg-tors,” Liberty and Valhalla, both Weimaraner dogs.
The Potsdam Rotary Club meets each Wednesday at noon at the Potsdam Town Hall. Guests are welcome.
