NORWOOD — The Norwood Village Green Concert Series will continue its 52nd season on Sunday, June 8 at 7 p.m. with a performance by local Ogdensburg band, Sister Cinnamon.
Known for their high-energy sound and strong local following, Sister Cinnamon features Alexa Trimm on vocals and keys, Tristen Fitzgerald on guitar, Eddie Miller on drums and backing vocals, and Jesse Anderson on bass and vocals.
The concert, held on the historic Village Green at 3 Bicknell Street in Norwood, invites the community to enjoy a free evening of live music while supporting regional talent. Audience members are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets and enjoy a relaxed outdoor setting. While all concerts are free, "Pass the Bucket" donations are appreciated to help support the series.
Founded in 1974, the Norwood Village Green Concert Series is made possible with major support from the New York State Council on the Arts, with the support of the NYS Legislature and Governor Kathy Hochul. Additional backing comes from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Mid Atlantic Foundation for the Arts, Iber Musicas, the Sweetgrass Foundation, the Badenhausen Legacy Fund, the Town of Potsdam, the Village of Norwood, and numerous local donors and businesses.
