To the Editor:

In response to the Chairman of the St. Lawrence County Conservative Party’s Letter to the Editor concerning Trump’s Lies:

The tact claiming that the other side lies is no excuse for the Biggest of Lies placed on the American Public in memory. Trump’s Big Lie about the 2020 election results one of  the biggest and most damaging lies to our democracy in our lifetimes. It both damages the electoral process and the constitutional voting results. It led to the fiasco on January 6th created by, and fueled by Donald Trump. That Big Lie is all you have to know about all the other lies he has perpetuated……and they continue. He still hasn’t conceded the 2020 election.

His second big lie is nobody died on January 6th. People died on January 6th and on January 7th as result of violent actions initiated by the mob on January 6th. Some of these were Capitol Police Officers. No Donald, it wasn’t beautiful and it wasn’t a love fest. 

Elise Stefanik supports Trump’s fantasy about the 2020 election and in essence she has become a Big Liar herself. Elise “Backs the Blue” except when it is the Capitol Police.

Mr. Conservative Party Chairman and all of the Trump apologists have to take into consideration that by supporting the Big Liar-Chief especially on the results of the 2020 election and its January 6th insurrection, they are demeaning American Democracy and its Constitutional system of elections. 

This will lead to further chaos on Election Day 2024 and the certifications needed in January of 2025. To the general voting public: “We have all been warned of the consequences by Donald Trump. You can believe him here for one time only because he tried to do it before under different guises. He stated that he would call out the military and suspend the Constitution.”

This election is not about immigrants, crime, the economy, foreign relations, or anything else. It is about the American Democratic system which relies on truth – and needs to flush out the biggest of all lies and liars. 

Earlier I stated that his lies continue but this one big lie should have put this present election to rest. Sadly too many people ignore his lies. Unfortunately, Elise, the Republican, Conservative Parties, and Trump’s followers have become a cult ignoring his lies and gross utterances.

I don’t find this amusing as the Chairman of the Conservative does. I find it troubling and downright UnPatriotic to be a Trump apologist. Before anyone goes slandering Joe Biden or Kamala Harris look in the mirror. Look at the chaos Trump has, and will continue to cause. It’s not good for America.

Read all 4 verses. It encompasses the real spirit of America – as flawed as it is sometimes. 

Will Donald Trump “Crown Thy Good with Brotherhood”? The answer is obviously no. 

Finally when MAGA surfaces I associate it with a long list of Trump’s gross comments including his latest about Arnold Palmer’s genitalia. That’s not America the Beautiful. That’s Donald Trump - The Liar in Chief….. “Making America Gross Again”. His locker room talk doesn’t cut it.
