NORWOOD — A Norwood man was charged after allegedly throwing a firework at another person during a domestic dispute Saturday, according to state police.
John A. Vari, 62, was charged with third-degree menacing, officers said.
Troopers responded to Pine Street and investigation determined Vari and the victim were involved in a verbal argument that turned physical when he threw a firework and pulled the victim's hair.
Vari also allegedly took a glass ceiling light cover and threatened the victim with it.
Vari left the residence prior to law enforcement's arrival, police said
He was located a short time later and arraigned in Norfolk court, where he was released on his own recognizance, officers said.
