NORWOOD — Norwood American Legion Commander David Butterfield recently presented a donation check to Belinda and Mike Stone in support of their five-year-old daughter, Betty, who is bravely battling brain cancer for the second time.
The funds were raised as part of a benefit event featuring a bike run and jamboree, set to take place on Saturday, June 21, at the Potsdam Moose Lodge.
Organizers hope the event will bring the community together in support of Betty and her family during this difficult time.
