NORWOOD — The Norwood Village Green Concert Series will continue its 52nd Annual Season on Thursday, June 19 at 7 p.m. with Northern New York’s only Professional Wind Ensemble, Northern Symphonic Winds.
Founded in 1998, the Northern Symphonic Winds is a 55-piece wind and percussion ensemble composed of Crane School of Music faculty, Northern New York music educators and other professionals, as well as select Crane students.
The Norwood Village Green Concert Series enjoys major support from the New York State
Council on the Arts with the support of the NYS Legislature and the Office of Governor
Kathy Hochul, The National Endowment for the Arts, The Mid Atlantic Foundation for the Arts, Iber Musicas, the Sweetgrass Foundation, the Badenhausen Legacy Fund, the Town of Potsdam, the Village of Norwood, and many local donors and businesses. All concerts are free but a Pass the Bucket donation is requested.
