POTSDAM – The North Country Children’s Museum is hosting the Kids on the Block Disability Awareness Program on Saturday, March 22, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This engaging and educational event uses life-sized puppets to foster empathy, understanding, and acceptance of individuals with developmental disabilities.
Designed for children and families, this 60-minute interactive program uses puppets and storytelling to help children gain insight into the experiences of individuals with disabilities. Kids will have the opportunity to ask questions of the puppet characters. Professional presenters will be on hand to provide additional explanations and insights.
This special program is included with the cost of museum admission and membership. No pre-registration is required. The museum is located at 10 Raymond Street in Potsdam. For more information visit: https://northcountrychildrensmuseum.org/events/ .
