OGDENSBURG – The Ogdensburg Community office of the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce recognized Morristown Central School senior Evan Brooks as the April BOCES Student of the Month.
Brooks is in the Automotive Tech Program at Northwest Tech BOCES in Ogdensburg.
“Evan is a dedicated student known for his unwavering willingness to help others. Always ready to lend a hand in the classroom or shop with patience and a positive attitude,” said Kelly Tiernan, his instructor in the Automotive Tech Program.
Evan has been instrumental in Skills USA and the National Technical Honor Society. Beyond school he volunteers with Morristown Fire Department and is currently in EMT Trainings for completion date of May 2025. Evan is a Skills USA Auto Contestant, Career and Tech All Star, OSHA 10 and is Snap-On Meter Certified. Evan plans on attending SUNY Morrisville to major in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
Evan Brooks received a Certificate of Achievement from BOCES and a plaque from the Ogdensburg Community office.
