POTSDAM -- Facing the Present with Heart: a mindfulness meditation and sharing circle, will be offered at Trillium in the Potsdam Presbyterian Church Community Center, Thursday, March 20 at 6 p.m. Facilitated by Jenna Joya Blondel, the group will practice meditation on the breath, in the tradition of Thich Naht Hahn, to reduce stress and facilitate understanding and compassion, followed by mindful listening to hold space to share experiences, hopes, and fears. The intention of this gathering is to reduce stress and facilitate understanding and compassion as a way to meet the moment in these challenging times. There is no charge and all are welcome. Facing the Present with Heart will continue to meet monthly, on the third Thursday, from 6-7 p.m. Jenna Joya Blondel, PhD, Minister of Walking Prayer, will facilitate Facing the Present with Heart at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Canton, at 2 p.m. on the first Sunday of the month.
