Massena Public Library Director Honored with Excellence in Library Service Award

At its 60th Annual Member Meeting held at St. Lawrence University’s Eben Holden Conference Center, the Northern New York Library Network (NNYLN) presented Krista Briggs, Director of the Massena Public Library, with its prestigious Excellence in Library Service Award. The award recognizes Briggs for her commitment to equitable access to information, dedication to lifelong learning, promotion of interlibrary cooperation, and efforts to expand and enrich library services within the community. The citation commended her for “supporting access to information for all, encouraging learning, promoting interlibrary cooperation and sharing, enhancing and expanding library services, and strengthening the library’s role in the community.” See story here.
