HAMMOND — A Massena man faces a felony stemming from a drug investigation June 12, according to state police.
Derrick L. German, 52, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.
Troopers conducted a traffic stop on SH 37 around 7 p.m. on a vehicle that was allegedly speeding 45 mph in a 30 mph zone.
German was allegedly in possession of a quantity of MDA, a hallucinogenic substance, a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance, and a smoking device containing crack-cocaine, officers said.
He was additionally cited for speed in zone (45/30) and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, arraigned in Hammond Court and released.
