POTSDAM— A California man was charged with driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest following a traffic stop for speeding in the village of Potsdam, according to Potsdam Police.
Potsdam Police report Ricky Yin, 36, of Windomar, CA, was charged June 19 with one count driving while intoxicated, one count resisting arrest, and was issued a uniform traffic ticket for speed in zone.
Village police say that upon the traffic stop it was determined that Yin was allegedly intoxicated, and reportedly resisted arrest when patrols attempted to take him into custody.
Ticket is returnable to Potsdam Town Court July 9.
