MACOMB —- A home on Hurst Road is a total loss following a fire Tuesday morning, according to Gouverneur fire.
Gouverneur Fire responded to a reported structure fire for a house that was fully involved threatening a neighboring house, according to a post on the department Facebook page.
Once on scene, firefighters discovered fire showing throughout the dwelling and two vehicles also on fire at the front of the home, officials said.
The home is reported as a total loss.
“Our thoughts are with the family as they venture through this terrible loss,” Gouverneur fire said.
Gouverneur Rescue responded for standby and mutual aid was eroded by Morristown and Oxbow fire departments, officials said.
Red Cross volunteers were reportedly helping assist the three people who lived in the home.
