Lynne Marie Saucier, 72, formerly of Potsdam

POTSDAM - Lynne Marie Saucier age 72 of Stone Mountain, GA and formerly of Potsdam, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, June 13, 2025, at her home surrounded by loving family. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 20, 2025, at St. Mary’s Church in Potsdam, NY at 10:00 AM, with a burial to follow at Bayside Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Garner Funeral Service from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Garner Funeral Service.

Lynne was born March 2, 1953, in Potsdam, NY to the late Harold and Genevieve (Strater) Ellis. She graduated Salutatorian from Parishville Central School. At the age of 19, Lynne married the love of her life, Charles Saucier November 13, 1972, in Ogdensburg officiated by Justice of the peace.

Lynne was employed for 12 years as a beloved Door Greeter at Sam’s Club, where her warmth and kindness made a lasting impression on coworkers and customers alike. In her free time, she found joy in oil painting—particularly landscapes, which reflected her deep appreciation for nature. An avid walker, Lynne especially loved spending time outdoors on Stone Mountain, the place she proudly called home for the past 42 years.

Mrs. Saucier is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles Saucier of Stone Mountain, GA, her daughter Tanya Saucier England (husband Mark) and daughter Devon Saucier (Spouse Angela). She is also survived by Sisters: Bernetta Kelly, Anita Shean, Sue Wiklacz, Nancy Randall and brother Edward Bump.

She was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Genevieve Ellis.
