NORFOLK— A Louisville man who allegedly violated a protective order by damaging another person’s vehicle was arrested by St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office Monday.
Luke R. Saumier, 44, of Louisville, was charged April 21 with one count third-degree criminal mischief (E felony) and two counts second-degree criminal contempt, according to a press release issued by the sheriff’s office today, April 25.
The Sheriff’s Office reports that Saumier was charged following investigation of a protective order violation in the town of Norfolk. During one of two violations, Saumier is alleged to have intentionally damaged a vehicle operated by the protected party.
Saumier was arraigned in Norfolk Town Court and was released under the supervision of probation.
