Hospital and EMS co-workers, family and friends celebrated Monday with a 20-year-old registered nurse after he completed his 9-week chemotherapy treatment at Canton-Potsdam Hospital. After Lukas Kompan rang the bell in the CPH chemotherapy department following his final treatment, he was surprised to see fellow firefighters from his hometown in Constable and the mayor of Malone join the celebration.
