OGDENSBURG — The summer season kicked off with the Ogdensburg Riverfest last Saturday afternoon.

The block party featured live music by Another Fine Mess, vendors, food, inflatables for children and other family activities.

Another Fine Mess returned the money they were paid back to the Ogdensburg International Seaway Festival as a donation and played extra time due to the crowd, said Melanie Flack, one of the event organizers.

Riverfest was a fundraiser for the upcoming Ogdensburg International Seaway Festival July 20-28.
