Lisbon man named state AMVETS Commander

This past weekend in Binghamton, retired SGT MAJ John McCullough, on the left, was elected and sworn in as the new NYS AMVETS Commander. John is from Lisbon and is a life member of the Paul J. Conroy Post 1997 in Heuvelton. 

He also serves as the Post Adjutant for this organization. He retired from the US Army in 2006 with the rank of SGT MAJ and is also the Commander of the North Country Council of AMVETS for Northern New York.
