GOUVERNEUR– Building Attendant Lisa Burns has been honored as the Gouverneur Hospital 2024 Employee of the Year for Rochester Regional Health’s St. Lawrence Region.
Burns was chosen from Gouverneur Hospital finalists who all received special recognition as Employees of the Quarter throughout this past year.
Burns received the following accolades:
· Lisa has been with us for 28 years and is an integral part of the Environmental Services Department.

· She has a never-complaining attitude that makes her a joy to have on our team.
· Lisa exemplifies what it means to be a dedicated, hardworking, and caring person.
· When it comes to punctuality, Lisa sets the bar, and she has perfect attendance.
· She is reliable, positive, and team-oriented.
· Lisa is always ready to take on whatever comes her way.
· If there’s a need for someone to step up, Lisa is the first to volunteer.
