MASSENA- Kenneth R. White, 73, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at the Massena Hospital.

Kenneth was born on November 18, 1951 in Massena, son of the late Louis William and Marguerite (Cirtwell) White. He was a graduate of Holy Family High School where he was an All-star hockey and baseball player.

He worded at Alcoa for 42 years, retiring as a Millwright, and was known for his ability to fabricate almost anything. He was a car enthusiast, with an appreciation for antique automobiles, and he enjoyed working in his garage, especially on his beloved GTO. He loved all animals, and left no stray cat behind. He enjoyed family gatherings, barbecues and playing horseshoes.

He is survived by his companion of 20 years, Melissa Rourke; four children, Christopher White, Mitz White, Darcie Frego and Danielle Litalien; seven grandchildren, Jordan, Alyssa, Riley, Breanne, Kirston, Andrew and Alex; and his siblings Elaine Poquette, Linda Springer, Lee Durgan, and Louis, Steven and Richard White.

Besides his parents Louis and Marguerite, he was also predeceased by his siblings Sally Martin, Roseanne Smith, Bill White and James White.
There will be no public calling hours. Burial will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery Area #2 at the convenience of the family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced.

Memorial donations may be made in Kenneth’s memory to the Massena Humane Society.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Donaldson Funeral Home, where friends and family are encouraged to share memories and condolences online at www.donaldsonfh.com.
