To the Editor:
Monday's "60 Minutes" interview with Vice President Kamala Harris, aired less than a month before the election that decides the fate of America, proved that Ms. Harris does not have what it takes to be "the leader of the free world."
CBS interviewer Bill Whitaker asked many questions we wanted Kamala Harris to answer. But, instead, she showed us she still knows how to serve up a big old "word salad". For you readers who don't know, a "word salad", according to Merriam-Webster's dictionary, is "unintelligible, extremely disorganized speech or writing manifested as a symptom of a mental disorder."
Far be it from me to say Kamala is mentally ill, but she is, after all, a "big-L" Liberal, and as Ph.D. nutritionist, best-selling author, and former radio talk show host, Michael Savage detailed in his 2005 book of the same name, "Liberalism Is A Mental Disorder."
Wikipedia defines "liberalism" as a "political and moral philosophy based on individual rights, liberty, consent of the governed, political equality, right to private property, and equality before the law." To be a 21st century "Liberal", a follower of today's Democratic party, you have to embrace many things that conflict with that definition.
Today's "Liberal Democrats" have shown they want more government interference into citizens' affairs, less freedom for "We, the People", massive government bureaucracy and spending, the elimination of opposing viewpoints, more government control of private property, and "laws for thee, but not for me."
It's all about power and control, and today's Democrats are determined to take away the rights and liberties of law-abiding Americans and, in the past four years, have demonstrated their disdain for freedom-loving Americans, especially those who support the policies and campaign of the "non-politician", Donald J. Trump.
Think of what a second Trump-term could mean for America and freedom if the "enemy within" running under the Democrat banner would let the man govern without trying to destroy him at every turn. We would see our economy take off again, energy independence restored, and real "power to the people" returned to "We, the People" instead of the behind-the-scenes puppeteer(s) pulling the Biden-Harris strings.
Reader, your vote matters. Don't let this opportunity to save America slip away. Vote only for Republican candidates and give President Trump a second chance to make America great again.
