An open letter to John
It has been my privilege to walk beside you these past 16 years.
To receive your glance across a crowded room.
To experience the good times and the not go good times of married life.
But at present it appears we must part.
So take your rest, my dear one, because shortly you will awaken refreshed to begin the real life promised by our heavenly father.
As Isaiah 26:19 says: “Your dead will live….Awake and shout joyfully you residents in the dust!...And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life.”
