Jarett W. Premo, 45, Parishville

PARISHVILLE - Funeral Services for Jarett W. Premo, 45, of Parishville will be private. Mr. Premo died early Thursday morning, December 12, 2024, at his home, following a courageous battle with ALS.

Arrangements are under the direction of Frary Funeral Home, Ogdensburg.

Jarret W. Premo was born on March 31, 1979 in Ogdensburg.

He was the son of Gary and Julie (McKay) Premo.

He was a 1998 graduate of Pardeeville High School. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in 2004 from Clarkson University.

After a ten-year relationship, on September 9, 2023, he married Illyssa Fletcher in Burlington, Vermont.

Over the course of his career, he worked for his family’s business Premo’s Market in Gouverneur, Cives Steel, Shuff’s Steel, JPW Steel, Ocean Steel and finally as the Vice President of Sales for Crystal Steel.

In his youth he earned his Eagle Scout Badge, he loved golfing, traveling, and skiing Black Diamonds. He was also a hiker, hiking trails all over the United States.

Of all his accomplishments, his best was his loving family.

He is survived by his wife, Illyssa Premo; his children; Emily and Kiara Premo and Bryce and Adelia Premo; his father, Gary Premo of Chippewa Bay; and his siblings, Jason Premo and his wife Patty of Phoenix, AZ and Justin Premo and his companion, Misty Lovely of Ogdensburg also survive him; along with his nieces and nephews; Makayla, Allyssa, Grace and Lucas Premo.

He was predeceased by his mother, Julie Premo; his aunt, Barbara McDermott and his brother-in-law, Carson Hunter.
