POTSDAM — The first ever Tri-Beach Triathlon between the beaches at Norwood, Potsdam and Hannawa Falls was held Saturday, Sept. 7.
Despite the wet weather, 16 participants swam 1/4 mile or kayaked at Norwood Beach, then biked 8 miles to Sandstoner Park, Potsdam, and finished with a 6 mile run to Postwood Beach, Hannawa Falls.
The results are as follows:
Men: Everett Palmer 1:18:57; Ben Stauffer 1:19:01; Jackson Greer 1:22:09; Scott Shulte 1:22:19; Nick Multary 1:24:03; Paul Stauffer 1:24:17; Steve Dilger 1:26:20; John Coleman 1:30:08, and Chad Greer 1:32:56.
Women: Tanya Hewitt 1:23:16; Leah Stauffer 1:24:17; Karen Stauffer 1:33:14; Allyssa Hardiman 1:40:10; Lynzie Shulte 1:40:11; Amy Hollister 1:45:22; and Patricia Greene 2:09:45.
