Ida M. McGregor, 83, Massena

MASSENA -- Ida M. McGregor, 83, of Highland Road, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center.

Ida was born March 2, 1941, in Massena, the daughter of the late Amos and Albina (Berthiaume) Duquette. She attended schools in Massena.

She married Robert J. McGregor and was blessed with 4 children. He predeceased her on November 24, 1983.

Ida was a homemaker raising her family and also worked as a bus driver for Massena Central Schools. She enjoyed cooking, garage sales, sewing, and crafting.

She is survived by her children, Dale (Sherry) McGregor and Lynn Brown, all of Massena; her companion, Leon Plourde; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Robert “Bubba” and Terry McGregor, a grandson, Donald Moniere, a great grandson, Jacoby Ryan, and many brothers and sisters.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, where friends may call Tuesday 12-2:00 PM.

A graveside service will follow at 2:30 in Calvary Cemetery, Massena.
