MASSENA — May 3 is I Love My Park Day, a statewide initiative sponsored by Parks and Trails New York.
I Love My Park Day encourages everyone to volunteer at a park in their area to help get it ready for the summer season and make park-wide improvements.

The Nicandri Nature Center will host a volunteer work day for I Love My Park Day. The event will be from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. All ages and abilities are welcome to participate.
There will be projects inside and out, from trail clean up to organizing to cleaning to gardening to painting to planting and more.
All equipment, gloves, water, and snacks are provided. Register at the above link or by emailing info@massenanaturecenter.com or calling (315) 705-5022. Registration is encouraged to help plan supplies, but not required.
