HAMMOND — SUNY Potsdam graduate student Kelsey Bennett, a Hammond native and standout catcher for the Bears softball team, has been named an Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete for the 2024-25 academic year.
Bennett, a dual major in Biology and Chemistry, posted a 3.5 or higher GPA while also achieving a career-best .360 batting average in 34 games this season.
She capped her career with 101 hits, becoming just the 12th player in program history to reach the 100-hit milestone.
