GOUVERNEUR – A Gouverneur woman was charged with felony driving while intoxicated following a personal-injury accident Aug. 15, according to village police.
Dawn L. Farley, 54, was charged at 11:35 a.m. with DWI: Previous conviction in 10 years, felony; driving while ability impaired, and failure to use a designated lane.
She was involved in a personal-injury motor vehicle accident, officers said.
During the investigation of the accident, Farley was reportedly found to be impaired by alcohol and provided a positive breath sample.
Police said she has a previous DWI conviction within the last ten years.
She was reportedly cited and released.
