POTSDAM — Grab your broomsticks (or paddles) and join the Full Moon Witches, Warlocks & Cryptids Paddle, launching from the Ives Park Boat Launch Monday, Oct. 6 at 4:30 p.m.
Before setting out, participants will gather to share a communal "cauldron beverage," then head onto the water under the autumn moon.
The event is open to the public.
Paddlers are encouraged to bring their own canoe, kayak, or paddleboard, and a limited number of rafts will be available for rent at the Potsdam boathouse. Costumes are encouraged witches, warlocks, cryptids, and all magical beings are welcome to bring some spooky fun to the water.
Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Donations will be accepted to benefit SLC Arts and Potsdam Pride, supporting creativity and inclusivity across the North Country. This community event is organized by Bluebird Collective Wellness Studio, a welcoming space in Potsdam offering small group strength training, yoga practice, individualized programming, and more.
