POTSDAM — Local seniors will soon have a fun and engaging way to stay active, thanks to a free program offered by the St. Lawrence County Office for the Aging in partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension.
The new Bingocize program, open to adults age 60 and older, combines the classic game of bingo with light exercise, falls prevention techniques, and health education.
The 10-week class begins May 5 at 3 p.m. and will be held in the Community Room at the Mayfield Apartment Complex, located at 22 Mayfield Drive in Potsdam.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required. To reserve a spot, call the Office for the Aging at (315) 386-4730.
