POTSDAM -- Hooks and Needles. Calling all fiber artists and textile creatives. Whether you’re a seasoned weaver or a curious beginner, join the Hooks & Needles Textile Guild at SLC Arts, at the Creative Spirit Community Arts Center, 6-8 Raymond St., on June 5.
A vibrant new group gathering every other Thursday evening at the Creative Spirit Community Arts Center.
Bring your own projects and connect with fellow fiber lovers working with: Yarn, thread, beads, fabric, felt, and more.
Knit, crochet, weave, spin, dye, embroider, mend, quilt—you name it.
Even textile-adjacent artists like bookbinders, paper artists, and wire workers are welcome.
Come to collaborate, troubleshoot, and grow together as we shape a community where textile traditions meet bold new ideas.
Open to all ages and skill levels (children must be with an adult).
