OGDENSBURG - Eunice Priscilla Curry, 87, of Ogdensburg, NY, passed away on May 19, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family, with burial to take place at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Frary Funeral Home.

She attended the local high school and remained in the North Country throughout her life. Eunice began a dedicated 36-year career at ACCO, where she worked diligently until her retirement. She was the proud mother of one daughter, Cynthia "Cindy"; with her former husband, David Curry. Eunice and Cindy shared a close bond, enjoying nights out together at Vinn’s Tavern and the Moose Lodge.

Eunice loved to get her nails done, bargain hunting, dressing spiffy, watching game shows and westerns, listening to country music, and looked forward to her nightly phone calls to friends and family. She loved her cats, Barry & Bigfoot, and “her dog,” Ziva, who were always by her side. Eunice opened her doors for many, to gather with her grandson Ronzo, to create art and music.

Eunice is survived by her grandchildren, Ronald “Ronzo” Farrand, Eric Farrand, and Teri Luck; her sisters, Jean Skidds and Bethany Wyatt; her brother, Quinton “Michael” Smithers; and several great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Enos and Thelma (Middlemiss) Smithers; her daughter Cynthia “Cindy” Curry; her brothers Wendell Harper, Guy Harper, David Smithers, Vernon Smithers, Donald Smithers, Ellis Smithers, George Smithers, and Delmar Smithers; and her sisters, June Hazelton, Arlene Adams, Betty Simpson, Louise LaFave, and Beverly Gladle.
