POTSDAM — Canton-Potsdam Hospital had a heartwarming coincidence this week when two baby boys, born less than ten hours apart, shared not only a birthday week but the same name — Myles.
Myles Robert Ward entered the world April 17 at 8:59 a.m. weighing 4 pounds, 14 ounces. Nicknamed "Half-Mile" by his family, he is the son of Randy and Emily Ward. Emily, a labor and delivery nurse at CPH.
Just hours earlier, at 11:28 p.m. on April 16, Myles Edward Dunning — nicknamed “Full-Mile” — was born, tipping the scales at a robust 10 pounds and 0.3 ounces.
Parents Jamie and Brittany Bernard-Dunning expressed heartfelt gratitude to their labor and delivery nurses, Kimberly Belanger, RN, and Kylie Phillips, RN, for the exceptional care they received during their hospital stay.
