Higher temperatures in May, June and the beginning of September are resulting in hot classrooms in schools across St. Lawrence County. Potsdam Central School has added air conditioning units to nearly all instructional classrooms in the high school. Superintendent Jerry Griffin believes legislation is likely on the way to dictate maximum classroom temperatures. He said the governor had discussions about it this past spring.
