Mr. Tynon was born on September 14, 1941 in Ogdensburg, the son of Dennis and Virginia Williams Tynon. He attended Ogdensburg Free Academy. In his youth, he loved to fish, hunt, and bowl. Not long after graduating, he met the love of his life, Judy Ashley, and married her on May 30, 1959 at Notre Dame Church with Rev. Joly Presiding. Dennis worked as a supervisor at the New York Telephone Company for 42 years before retiring from Verizon. He was an American Pioneer and past Exulted Ruler of the Elks. During his free time, he enjoyed gardening and tending to flowers, reading and watching the news; though nothing compared to watching his grandchildren grow up and spending time with family.
