Deborah J. French, 69, Baldwinsville

BALDWINSVILLE -- Deborah J. French, 69, of Baldwinsville, passed away on June 11, 2025, at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse.

Deborah was born on September 11, 1955, in Massena, the daughter of the late John and Eva (Cherry) Sherwood.

She graduated from Massena High School and later worked at Wegmans in Baldwinsville for several years.

She enjoyed family events and going to lunch with her friends.

Deborah spent many years on the road with her husband, who was a trucker.

Deborah is survived by her sisters, Elizabeth Paul of VA and Cheryl Barnes of Massena; two brothers, Harold Sherwood of New York Mills and Scott (Kathy) Sherwood of North Lawrence; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas French and a brother-in-law, Robert Barnes.

At Deborah’s request, there will be no services.

Memorial contributions in Deborah’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements are under the care of the Donaldson Funeral Home in Massena where memories and condolences may be shared online with the family at www.donaldsonfh.com.
