CANTON -- David Clark, 74, formerly of Canton, died on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the Wynn Hospital in Utica, New York, where he was in the company of family.
David had lived in the Utica are for the past four years.
David Clark was born January 14, 1951, in Canton New York.
Son of the late Charles and Evelyn (Flanagan) Clark, he attended Canton Schools and after graduation enlisted in the U.S. Army.
David was Honorably discharged from the military in 1976, and returned home to Canton where he lived most of his adult life.
David had a knack for making any gathering a fun event with his humor and infectious laugh.
He loved basketball (and truly thought he should've been in the NBA).
He provided family and friends with many great memories and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by four nephews, Damon, Brian, Charles and Kevin.
In addition to his parents, David was predeceased by three older brothers, James, Charles and John.

Calling hours for David will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2025, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the O’Leary Funeral Home, Canton, followed immediately by a funeral service at 3:00 pm.
Burial in the St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton will be held at a later date.
