Cynthia M. "Cissy" Kilmer, 75, Massena

MASSENA -- Cynthia M. "Cissy" Kilmer, age 75, formerly of N. Main Street, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Canton-Potsdam Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Phillips Memorial Home in Massena.

Per Cissy's wishes, there will be no public calling hours.

A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Calvary Cemetery, in Massena.

She was born on April 10, 1950, in Massena, NY to parents Howard and Velma LaShomb Durant.

Cissy was a homemaker. She enjoyed going to Stewarts Shop where she would get her cappuccino.

Cissy loved to take walks with her husband, Joseph around town and loved listening to music and dancing.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Kilmer; her sisters, Donna and Bill Blair, Freda and Lyle Mousseau and Brenda Durant all of Massena, NY along with several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was also predeceased by her sister, Linda Austin, a brother, Fred Durant and her stepfather, Donald Deruchia.
