True America first policy starts with prioritizing the backbone of our country and New York's 21st district: our farmers. Agriculture is a focal point of the north country with it being home to hundreds of dairy farms, apple orchards, maple operations, and craft breweries.
Congresswoman Stefanik has been a leading advocate for reforming our broken agricultural visa programs, including the failing H-2A program. Her advocacy helped the bipartisan Farm Workforce Modernization Act pass in the House. This legislation has been a top policy priority for North Country farmers for decades and is a testament to her determination to uphold her the North country’s interests.
Congresswoman Stefanik remains steadfast in defending conservative values through her commitment to deregulating the agriculture industry. By reducing the big government red tape on farmers, she helps create an environment where they can operate more efficiently and with greater freedom.
In collaboration with President Trump, Elise has led the charge for increasing market access around the world. In her pursuit of American prosperity Elise helped replace NAFTA with an America first trilateral trade agreement between the United States, Mexico and Canada with President Trump in 2018. No one stands with American farmers, particularly North country farmers like Elise Stefanik.
