To the Editor:

It is the most humbling honor to represent New York’s 21st Congressional District. I will continue to work tirelessly every day to deliver real results for our hardworking families, small businesses, farms, students, seniors, service members, military families, law enforcement officers, and veterans in Upstate New York and the North Country. During my time in office, I have returned over $800 million in taxpayer dollars back to NY-21, $214 million for rural hospitals and healthcare programs, $10 million for broadband expansion, $5.8 million for veterans, and $4 million for seniors. I’m not slowing down. 

The crisis created at our Northern and Southern Borders by Joe Biden and his open border czar Kamala Harris has overwhelmed our communities and put illegal immigrants before Americans. President Donald Trump gave us the strongest border policies in history. The Democrats will claim that they sent border bills that would secure the border to Congress when in reality, these bills would give mass amnesty to the tens of millions of illegal immigrants already in the country. We must put an end to it this November. 

I am incredibly proud to be the only candidate in this race who is endorsed by the National Border Patrol Council because they know that Republicans are working to secure our borders. I have frequently met with the Northern Border law enforcement covering the Swanton Sector and heard firsthand from families who have shared alarming encounters with illegal immigrants. Our Border Patrol officers are being handcuffed by the Biden-Harris Administration’s open border policies, and the safety of our district has been compromised. As Chair of the Northern Border Caucus in Congress, I will work with President Trump on day one to provide our Border Patrol agents the resources they need to secure our borders and deport the millions of illegal immigrants invading our country. Along with President Trump, Republicans in Congress will finish the wall at the southern border, end catch and release, restore Remain in Mexico, and increase the number of border patrol officers at the Southern and Northern Borders. 

I have worked to reverse the skyrocketing inflation caused by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris by cutting wasteful spending, reducing regulations, and cutting taxes. When I first ran for Congress, I made a commitment to never vote for a tax increase, and I can proudly say I have kept that promise. I have fought hard to help grow the economy by supporting local small businesses and manufacturers and delivered expanded rural broadband access and workforce development to further better economic opportunities in Upstate New York and the North Country.

Lastly, I will work with Republicans to end the global chaos and restore peace through strength to strengthen our national security. I will always be the chief advocate in Congress for Fort Drum and the 10th Mountain Division. And I look forward to inviting President Donald J. Trump back to Fort Drum.
