LISBON -- The family of Chris E. Putney, age 50, of Hammond, NY, are saddened to report his unexpected passing at the family home in Lisbon early Saturday morning, March 8, 2025.
Calling hours for Chris will be held on Friday March 14, 2025, at the Waddington First United Methodist Church from 1:00pm until the time of services at 4:00pm with Pastor Donna Fitchette presiding.
Burial to take place at the convenience of the family in Flackville Cemetery, in Waddington, NY.
Chris was born to the late Lowell and Alice (Kentner) Putney in Ogdensburg, NY on December 22, 1974.
Chris attended OFA in Ogdensburg graduating in 1996 with his IEP (Individualized Education Program).
He is survived by Linda Hoffman and companion, Brent Langdon of Watertown, NY, Angela Putney of Lisbon, NY, Lowell "Eric" Putney and companion, Nicole Bice of Hammond, NY, nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to his parents, Chris was predeceased by a brother, Ray Putney in 2012.
Chris loved to socialize with people and going out to different restaurants.
He was active in the Alternatively Abled Adventure group based out of Watertown, NY. They would plan functions and enjoy many different and fun activities throughout the North Country.
Chris was also very active with his parents in the National Farm Organization, Bowling League in Waddington when younger at the River Lane Bowling Alley.
