To the Editor:
Whatever happened to observing and celebrating "Children's Day", which in my childhood and young adulthood was always on the calendar the second Sunday in June, the Sunday before observing and celebrating Father's Day?
Thank goodness Google still recognizes Children's Day, but unfortunately, it's not printed on any present day calendar that I know of.
Maybe we, as faithful and religious followers, should write letters to our President of the United States, Donald John Trump, to sign an Executive Order that henceforth Children's Day shall be observed and celebrated, for all time, the second Sunday on the June calendar.
We are all children to a mother & father, no matter who they are, or where they may be, living or deceased.
No matter if you're 100+ or one day old, we are all children of God!
