ST. REGIS FALLS - A long-time resident of St. Regis Falls, and recently of North Bangor and Winters in North Carolina, Charles Robert Moore passed away due to a car accident in North Carolina on January 31, 2025. Charles was born on January 11, 1946, in Malone, NY, to A. Frank and Edith Moore. Charles was employed for 48 years at Barretts Quarry, before retiring.
He is survived by his loving wife, Martha (Ladison) Moore.
He was a cherished father to his three children: Shelley Moore, Jeffery Moore, and Shannon Moore. Charles was also a caring stepfather to two children: Krista Hoyt and Amanda & Rico Guerrero. His legacy continues through his eleven grandchildren, as well as his great-grandchildren. He was a dear brother to Bill Moore and Carl Moore, and is survived by his sister, Bev Moore.
Charles was a great husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He cherished spending time with all the kids, picking them up from school and treating them out. He enjoyed helping out the family. He would do anything for his family. He enjoyed winters in North Carolina and summers in New York. Charles had a love that no one else can ever take away.
The funeral service will be held at the Free Methodist Church, Norwood, NY (across from the Lobster House) at 2:00 PM on May 17, 2025.
A celebration of life will follow the service at the same location.
