Carp tournament Grand Champion

Seventeen year-old Ahna Martinez, from Heuvelton, was crowned 'Grand Champion' at the 21st Annual Junior Carp Tournament, held July 18 - 20. With a total of 75 lbs. 3 oz. for her heaviest four carp, she's only the 2nd female to garner the top spot in its 21 year history - the first being Bryaunna Murray at the 10th Annual in 2012.  Martinez edged out 13 year old Grant Clayton from West Alexander, Pa., by only 1 lb. 5 oz., after catching three late in the day on Saturday afternoon.
