CANTON—The Canton Recreation Department will offer a new hiking program this summer funded through a grant from L.L. Bean.
The 2025 Summer Day Hike Series will offer three hikes at locations within two hours of Canton, according to a report presented by Canton Recreation Director Meghan Richardson.
The program will be funded through a $1,320 grant from outdoor retailer L.L. Bean.
Those funds will cover the transportation costs to and from the hikes, which will be led by local and experienced outdoor leaders.
