Bruce LaDue, 80, formerly of Massena

MASSENA - Surrounded by his loving family, Bruce F Ladue, 80, a resident of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma formerly from Massena , New York, passed peacefully on October 30, 2024 at Norman Regional Hospital.

Bruce was born in Massena, New York on August 18, 1944 the son of the late Frederick and Kathleen (Thompson) LaDue. He attended Sacred Heart school and was a proud 1962 graduate of Massena Central High School. He went onto the Air Force January 1963 becoming a security forces officer.

November 13, 1965 he married his loving wife Sammie L Carson in Santa Maria, California. Upon discharge from the military in 1967, Bruce returned to Massena with his family.
He went on to serve his community in the Massena Rescue Squad and begin his career at Alcoa retiring in 2005 after 38 years.

He had a love of sports, especially his Dodgers, that won the series the day he passed with his help from behind the plate. His true passion was for golf with his buddy Utah. He played every day except Sunday. He was an active member of Baptist Church in Pauls Valley.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Sammie; daughter Tammie Bailey of Clayton, Ohio, sons Bruce (Lisa) LaDue of Massena and Eddie LaDue and partner Christina Garner of Pauls Valley. He is survived by a sister Crystal (Fred) Wilmer, Syracuse, NY and a niece McKenna (LaDue) Sauerhoff of Kingsville, TX. His grand children; Shawn, Trista, Ashley, Lleyton, Lindsey, Abbygale (Andi), Ely, Sieanna, Addisyn, Carson and Alex.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Richard Charles LaDue and nephew, Brandon Keith LaDue and daughter Stacy LaDue.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Wooster funeral home , 1601 South Chickasaw, Pauls Valley, OK 73075, where friends McCall on Sunday, November 3 from 5-7 PM. A service will be celebrated on Monday, November 4 at Beaty Baptist church 32090 Airline Rd., Pauls Valley, OK 73075 with Pastor Glenn Alley Officiating at 10am. Burial will be at Mount Olive cemetery at the convenience of the family.
