OGDENSBURG— Bridge Port Veterinary Clinic, previously operated by Dr. Cruikshank on state Highway 812, has closed. 

An online post from the clinic reports that Dr. Cruikshank is retiring after 48 years of practicing veterinary medicine and has closed the business.

Pet owners who brought their animals to Bridge Port can obtain their medical records by completing a form, found online at https://tinyurl.com/6w2nbcz2 . 

A separate online post states that forms can be found outside of the clinic, as staff cannot field the current volume of phone calls requesting records. 

The clinic also posted that pet owners waiting on emailed records should check their spam folders, as employees are using their personal email accounts to finalize the release of records. 

For existing patients with chronic conditions including but not limited to seizures, heart disease, osteoarthritis, and thyroid disease, a maximum of two months of oral medication refills will be made available. No requests for in-office services or changes in medications will be honored.
