Big Lots stores have announced they are closing many of its stores, but Potsdam and Massena branches appear safe for now.
The retail store, which sells furniture, food, clothing and decor, announced earlier this year plans to close about 300 locations.
The closest branch closing in New York is believed to be Plattsburgh. So far, 10 Big Lots stores are expected to close soon.
Locations in Potsdam at 200 Market St. and in Massena at 138 Harte Haven Plaza appear to be unaffected for now.
